The NRC staff will provide the consultation or will facilitate the relationship between consultants and nonprofits by serving as the first point of contact; assessing organizational needs and matching the appropriate consultant with an organization.
Start a Nonprofit
To successfully establish a new nonprofit organization, many factors must be considered:
- What is its mission?
- What type of organizational structure and classification will best suit its purpose?
- What are the steps to develop an effective strategic plan?
- Where will the organization find funding?
- What licenses, permits, and registrations does California require?
- Does the IRS require and when?
