About NRC
History & Mission
The Nonprofit Resource Center (NRC) was founded as the Resource Center for Nonprofit Management in 1998 by a group of regional nonprofits whose representatives felt a need to build the capacity of all nonprofit organizations in Riverside County.
Our mission is to provide leadership and professional development resources that strengthen the nonprofit sector.
Funding
As a Foundation Center Cooperating Collection, the NRC has access to the Foundation Center grants database of more than 98,000 funders. This collection is an invaluable resource to nonprofits researching and seeking funding from foundations and corporations alike. The collection is open to the public and members of the community may make an appointment to use the system. All appointments are held at the NRC offices in Riverside.
