Long-Term Care Ombudsman

Long-Term Care Ombudsman is a free and confidential service that maintains and improves the quality of life for residents in long-term care facilities throughout Riverside County.

The Ombudsman Program trains community volunteers to objectively investigate and resolve problems of residents in nursing homes and board and care homes.

At its core, Ombudsman is a grassroots program based on human kindness and the belief that all individuals have basic human rights and comforts that should be provided.

Last year, the Ombudsman program safeguarded the elderly with more than 7,500 visits to skilled nursing facilities.
